Ms. Thorp graduated from Ithaca College in 2004 cum laude and went on to receive her J.D. from New England School of Law (now New England Law Boston) in 2007. While at law school, Ms. Thorp was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, Children and the Law Society, and served as a mentor to other students.
While at New England School of Law, Ms. Thorp interned at the Committee for Public Counsel Services, Children and Family Law Program, as well as for the firm now known as Mayer, Antonellis, Jachowicz & Galvani, LLP. In 2007, Ms. Thorp began practicing all aspects of domestic relations law with the firm now known as Mayer, Antonellis, Jachowicz & Haranas. In 2013, Ms. Thorp joined the firm now known as Baskin & Associates, LLC, where she represents clients in all areas of family law. She also provides mediation services as an alternative to litigation. Ms. Thorp has been appointed by the Probate and Family Court to serve as Special Purpose Guardian ad Litem, Special Discovery Master, and counsel for children. She is a volunteer for the Attorneys Representing Children (ARC) Program and the Lawyer for the Day Program in Middlesex County.
